A HARTLEPOOL couple have come up with a red-hot way of showing their pride in their town.

And then, on a second holiday, Michelle and Gary Murray experienced much cooler temperatures when they headed for the snow-bound peaks of the French Alps.

But on both trips, they still remembered to show their love of their home town by taking a copy of the Hartlepool Mail’s Proud To Be A Poolie poster with them.

The couple first went to Lanzarote and stayed in Costa Teguise.

The photograph shows them on a camel ride in the Timanfaya National Park.

The second photograph comes from a ski trip in the French Alps when Gary and Michelle stayed in Valloire.

Our thanks go to them for backing our Poolie campaign.
