Ojo has been heavily linked with Boro in recent weeks having been touted as a potential replacement for Adama Traore - who continues to be the subject of plenty of speculation.

Meanwhile, Tony Pulis has revealed his transfer plans for the final week of the window.

The Middlesbrough boss confirmed that he is still hopeful of securing deals for three new signings before the transfer window closes.

Boro only have until August 9 to secure new additions after EFL clubs voted to bring forward the closure of the transfer window to remain in-line with Premier League clubs.

But despite only seven days of the window remaining, Pulis told supporters at the club's fans forum that he was optimistic three new faces would join before the deadline.
