Stuart Hare, 44, left Stranton Cemetery at around 10.50am on Friday and was believed to be making his way to Hartlepool station, but had not boarded a train.

Cleveland Police appealed for help to track him down.

Now officers have confirmed he was located in Cumbria at the weekend.

A force spokesman said: "We would like to thank those people who shared our appeal."
