BUS drivers ensured hungry commuters got off to a good start.
Stagecoach staff in Hartlepool handed out breakfast items to bus passengers in the Victoria Road and York Road area of Hartlepool.
The thoughtful gesture, which saw Stagecoach staff dress as farmyard animals, was part of National Customer Service Week.
Other highlights of the week-long initiative included the chance to ‘Tweet the Manager’ on social media page Twitter.
Customers are also being asked to nominate their Customer Service stars among their favourite drivers.
Stagecoach North East managing director Phil Medlicott said: “Delivering good customer service is at the heart of our business – our customers are central to everything we do and it is absolutely essential that we provide a good, consistent service for them across all of our depots.
“It’s great to see so many of our staff getting involved in Customer Service Week.”
