Motorists warned of disruption as resurfacing work is set to be completed on a Hartlepool road at the weekend

The second and final phase of resurfacing work on Challoner Road is due to be carried out this weekend.

The work will start on Saturday, March 9, at 6pm and be completed by mid-afternoon on Sunday, March 10.

A signposted diversion will be in place throughout the work and Hartlepool Borough Council has apologised for any inconvenience which the work will cause.
