Moving tributes to Hartleool mum, 24, at funeral

The funeral of mum-of-two Jamie Leigh Twidale from Hartlepool has taken place this morning.

Jamie, 24, who had epilepsy and ME, tragically died at her home in Suffolk Close, on October 31.

She was a devoted mother to her children Harley, four, and three-year-old Skyelar.

Friends and family attended a service of thanksgiving led by Rev Andrew Craig at St Aidan’s Church on Friday morning.

Mourners released blue and pink balloons as her white coffin was carried into church at the start of the moving service.

Eulogies remembered Jamie’s dedication to her children, her sense of humour, a love of dancing and socialising with friends.

A fundraising page on the website Go Fund Me has been started to help towards the funeral costs and to help Harley and Skyelar have as good a Christmas as possible.
