CRAFTY youngsters demonstrated their artistic flair when they created colourful Mother’s Day cards at a library session.
Staff at Foggy Furze Library, in Stockton Road, hosted the craft session which saw youngsters pop in to create a card for their mum ahead of Mother’s Day on Sunday.
Youngsters used card, crayons and colourful paper to create their cards ahead of the weekend celebrations.
The craft session was one of the final activity sessions for youngsters to be held at the popular library before it closes its doors for good this weekend.
Foggy Furze has been serving the local community for more than 60 years but Hartlepool Borough Council has decided to close it as part of a money-saving drive, as previously reported.
The library will be open for the final time on Saturday, April 2, between 9.30am and 12.30pm and staff have organised an open day tomorrow to give users the chance to say goodbye.
The event takes place between 10am and 4pm and refreshments will be available.
