Fun for all the family is being lined up at a charity event in Hartlepool which has become an annual attraction.
The fourth annual Miles for Men race will be held at Seaton Carew this weekend and charity spokesman Kevin Hill said the attractions will include live entertainment.

Six music acts will be performing for the crowds at The Domes in Seaton Carew.
The Finetimes, Kings Contraband, Belter, Ashley Tweddle, Charlie Campbell, and Anna Leigh Stanton will entertain from 1pm - around the same time as the run gets under way - and Kevin said: “I would like to say a big thank you to Kev McGuire for arranging this for the Miles for Men charity. I am really looking forward to a great day.”
The five kilometre Miles for Men run will once again support cancer research. The run will start at The Domes in Seaton Carew and the day’s events will also include a funfair.
Organisers are hoping to top last year’s event which saw £30,000 raised for charity.
The race starts at 1pm but registration begins from 10.30am.
Michael Day set up Miles for Men in 2012 after losing his father, Michael senior, to throat cancer in 2007.
It started out with a sponsored run to raise money for cancer research and it has become so popular that the fundraising total has reached £130,000.
The organisers are hoping that the support of the Hartlepool public will push the total beyond £200,000 this year.
The race starts at 1pm but registration begins from 10.30am. People can also register online at www.milesformen.co.uk.
