Nursery youngsters celebrate moving on with their own graduation ceremony
Around 30 youngsters at Kidz Village in Throston Grange Lane wore gowns and home-made mortar board hats to mark the occasion.
Each child took it in turn to go up on stage to be presented with a scroll and certificate.

Hide AdNursery manager Roz Darlington said: “We just wanted to celebrate our little people’s achievements.
“We had a graduation to say goodbye to the children who have been with us for quite a long time.
“They looked absolutely awesome and were delighted and felt very important and also very excited.
“They are all moving on to the next stage in their little lives.”

Hide AdA colourful backdrop was produced specially for the occasion of a rainbow and the youngsters’ handprints.
Parents joined in the fun occasion as staff laid on a buffet and bouncy castle for the kids.
Each child also received a gift bag.
The graduation event is one of a number of new ideas introduced by the nursery after taking over the premises in December.
Roz added: “We have been doing lots of gorgeous things with the children.
“Myself and Nikesha the owner want to say a massive thank you to all our fabulous staff for their hard work.”
