OAP injured in Hartlepool car crash - police seek witnesses

Police today appealed for information about a car crash in Hartlepool in which an elderly driver was injured.

Police appeal for witnesses after two car collision in Hartlepool

A Hyundai I20 and a Dacia Sandero collided with each other at about 2.50pm on Wednesday, April 6.

The accident happened at the junction of Church Street and Stockton Street in Hartlepool.

An 83-year-old woman, the driver of the Dacia, was taken to James Cook University Hospital, where she was treated for a possible fracture to her left knee.

Anyone with information regarding the collision is asked to contact Pc Mark Taylor from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on 101, quoting number 061134.
