One person has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Hartlepool this afternoon (Wednesday, June 8)

The incident, which occured on Wynyard Road, happened at around 2.44pm, with North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) dispatching one ambulance crew to the incident and transporting one person to North Tees hospital for further treatment.
A spokesperson for NEAS said: “We were called at 2:44pm this afternoon to reports of a road traffic collision on Wynyard Road, Hartlepool.
"We dispatched one ambulance crew and transported one patient to North Tees Hospital for further treatment."
