Meet the super seven winners of the 2020 Pride in Our Carers Awards which attracted more than 40 entries despite the pandemic.

Lauren Leighton was the winner for her dedication to supporting carers across the town.

4. Excellent news for Ebony
Young Carer of the Year Award (Sponsored by Hartlepool Round Table).
Ebony Brown was the winner in this category for supporting loved ones on a daily basis, while completing her education and raising funds for her local community. Her story appeared in the Hartlepool Mail when we told how she cares for her mum but still found time to do a 2.6 mile run and bake 52 cakes to give to local families in lockdown.
