Will it still be raining for Hartlepool United's big promotion parade on June 25?
Hartlepool woke to rainfall on Friday as the town prepared for Hartlepool United’s big promotion parade.
So will it still be wet for spectators when the players, who secured the club’s return to the Football League by beating Torquay United in last Sunday’s play-off final, enjoy their open-top bus tour between 5pm and 6.50pm on June 25?
According to weather experts at the Met Office, there is an 80% chance of heavy rain when the bus visits Coronation Drive, in Seaton Carew, at around 5.05pm.
By the time it is due to visit Middlegate, on the Headland, at 6pm, any deluge is predicted to have eased with a 50% chance of light rain.
Similar conditions are forecast at 6.50pm when the bus is expected to reach the end of its journey in Truro Drive.
