Plans for cluster of four new homes in village on outskirts of Hartlepool
Proposals have been submitted to Hartlepool Borough Council to build four new four-bed homes near Close Farm in Wolviston.
The proposals are located adjacent to a cluster of buildings which form Close Farm and the land is currently open countryside.

Hide AdThe development of the site aims to increase the number of residents in the area using the services and facilities in nearby Wynyard.
A planning statement, submitted on behalf of the applicant Gary Wilkinson, said: “New open market dwellings will provide a number of economic benefits for the local area.
“This will alleviate the pressure on nearby settlements and villages to deliver housing for the local community whilst providing economic benefits during the construction phase for local tradesman.
“Crucially, the development will provide support for the nearby services.”

Hide AdThe proposed homes would utilise the existing access from the A689 to Close Farm.
Each of the properties would have private parking including a detached garage.
An extensive programme of house building is already happening along the north side of the A689, the applicant said.
