A WOMAN who died after the car she was driving collided with a truck has been named as Christine Nicholson from Trimdon Village.
Christine (nee Walker), 51, has been described as an “infectious person who lived life to the full” by her devastated family.
Christine, who worked at Clipper, in Wynyard, sadly lost her life after her silver Ford Fiesta collided with a flat bed truck, which was carrying coal, on the A177 near Thorpe Larches yesterday.
Her family have paid tribute to Christine, saying: “Christine was an infectious person who lived life to the full.

“She endorsed everything positive in life and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.”
The male driver of the truck involved in the crash was airlifted to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, where he remains after suffering a leg injury.
