"On the face of it the TV's appear to be brand new and extremely good value with the same stickers which appear on brand new models in shops still on and packed in bubble wrap with no box.

"The sets are sold to customers only for them to find when they are turned on that they are not functional.

"The man in the van gives the customer a card with a phone number on in case there are any problems or any of their friends would like to buy one too but, surprise surprise, the number is not real.

"This male is selling door to door and also in car parks.

"Do not be tempted to buy in this manner as you will be disappointed and have no comeback when you learn they do not work.

"Remember, if something seems to good to be true, it probably is!"
