Whether or not it’s all over for Labour in Hartlepool remains to be seen, but that didn’t stop Boris Johnson making his pitch in the town.

The Prime Minister was in town to campaign for Conservative candidate Jill Mortimer ahead of May 6 by-election, and paid a visit to Hartlepool United – where he found the colour of the shirts agreeable at least.
