PROUD Hartlepool man Tom Stewart showed his love for his home town during two weeks at a beautiful sunshine-kissed resort.
The Rossmere area resident and his wife, Valeria, visited his daughter Nicole Howe, her husband Keith and their two daughters, Paige and Erin in Australia.
He took a copy of the Hartlepool Mail’s Proud To Be A Poolie poster with him to spread the word about his home town.
These pictures show the beautiful backdrop of Queensland where Nicole and her family – formerly of Whin Meadows in Hartlepool – now live.
The family live on the Gold Coast, but these photos were taken during a trip to the Sunshine Coast.
One shows Tom at the Pelican Waters Resort while the second shows Keith and Tom at Kings Beach, in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.
Our thanks go to Tom for helping to promote Hartlepool across the world.
Why not take your chance to show your passion about your town, just like Tom did?
All we want you to do is pick up a copy of our poster from the Mail reception or download it from our website www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk. It contains the slogan Proud To Be A Poolie.
With the summer season fast approaching, take it with you whenever you go on holiday or go away for a short break.
Have your photograph taken with the poster and send it to us so that we can publish it – and show that you have helped to spread the Hartlepool word.
Send your photos – as well as details including age, address, telephone number and email – to the Mail newsdesk, Hartlepool Mail, New Clarence House, Wesley Square, Hartlepool, TS24 8BX, or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
