SOME of the region’s top dancers showed off their skills at a Hartlepool festival.
But if you missed out on the entertainment, here are some reminders of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) Festival held at the Town Hall Theatre, in Raby Road.
Dance schools from Hartlepool and Middlesbrough were there, including the Debbie Barrass Academy of Performing Arts, the Watson Academy of Dance, the Elwick Academy of Dance/Northern Arts Academy, and Steps to Stage (all from Hartlepool), as well as the Maloney Stage School, from Middlesbrough.
Organiser Geoff Lucas praised the talent from throughout the Hartlepool area which was on show at the event.
The dance schools contributed more than 60 dancers each to the event with 12 hours of performances held every day.
The event was due to culminate tonight with a presentation of trophies.
Our photographers were there to capture the atmosphere and to take some great images.
But if you missed the event, you can still grab some permanent memories of the occasion. Our photographs are available to buy.
