Story time at Saltholme, on the outskirts of Hartlepool, runs throughout the summer and features exciting activities themed around a different book or author each week.

Hundreds of families have been getting closer to nature and their favourite tales this summer - with more exciting themes planned.

Activities include crafts, making smelly potions, writing magical nature spells, creating bug homes and planting vegetables to take home.
