Police have arrested a fourth man in connection with the disappearance of Hartlepool man Scott Fletcher, which is now being treated as murder.
Three men, aged 36, 38 and 48, from County Durham, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder on Tuesday.
A fourth man, aged 38 and from the Durham area, was today also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. All four have been bailed.
No body has been found yet, police say, with Scott having disappeared in May 2011.
The last sighting of Scott, 28, was on May 11, 2011, near the Jet garage on the A181 at Wheatley Hill, at about 8.20pm.
Police leading the inquiry believe he was murdered over a debt he owed.
