Thousands of people flocked to the waterfront for two big late-summer events in Hartlepool this weekend.
Crowds were entertained with arts and music at Jackson’s Landing on Saturday at the Waterfront Festival.
A number of people performed on the main stage during the event, including children’s favourites Cook and Line, from CBeebies, and former X Factor star Jake Quickenden.
On Sunday, meanwhile, more than 1,000 people watched the town’s annual raft-making race – the highlight of the annual carnival.
Eight brave groups took to the icy waters.
Our photographer Kevin Brady was there to capture all the action from the two events.
