The golden splendour of autumn is giving the people of Hartlepool and East Durham a wonderful natural show.
Photographer Kevin Brady was out and about to capture these images of Ward Jackson Park and Elwick Village. They show two of Hartlepool’s finest locations at their best as they make the transition to winter.
Beautifully coloured leaves have been accompanied by a mixture of fog, sun and gloom in recent days.
But more change is on the way as prolonged wet and windy conditions are likely to arrive.
They will last for days with only the briefest of appearances of drier and brighter spells.
It means temperatures will stay above the seasonal norm.
And on the occasional days when we do get more settled weather, overnight fog could return.
The days leading up to Christmas could see more wet and windy weather. Gales may also be a problem but temperatures are not expected to dip in the coming weeks.
