ROBIN Hood and his merry men are all set to take the stage by storm.
A show filled with songs and colourful costumes comes to the Town Hall Theatre in Raby Road, Hartlepool from tonight.
The Seaton Academy of Dance is the team responsible for the six-night run of Robin Hood and Babes in the Wood.
Principal Denise Tyzack founded the school 34 years ago and is looking forward to the latest production.
She said: “We have a cast of 150 and they are aged from two to 22 as well as some parents who are also taking part.”
She described the show as “a typical panto but with a modern feel to it as well.”
Denise praised the cast and said: “They have worked extremely hard.”
She thanked the parents of the cast for producing “fantastic” costumes and said the show was “colourful and funny.”
Performances are planned at 6.45pm each evening between tonight and Saturday. There is also a 2pm matinee on Saturday.
Tickets are £9.50 or £8.50 with concessions and Denise said they would be available either on the door or by contacting the theatre box office on (01429) 890000.
