A man found stabbed in a Hartlepool street over the weekend remains in hospital today.
Police are continuing their enquiries into the assault after the 25-year-old victim was found in Belk Street, off Raby Road, just before 3pm on Sunday with a stab wound.
No arrests have yet been made and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
The victim is currently being treated at the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
