Still time to take in a piece of history

AN exhibition about a church and the people behind it is coming to a close.

But there’s still time to catch the display about Holy Trinity Church in Seaton Carew.

It is being held in Hartlepool’s Central Library, in York Road. It includes photographs and information uncovered by Julie Cordiner while she wrote Portrait of a Seaside Parish: Holy Trinity Seaton Carew, to help raise £150,000 to restore the stonework at the church.

The display runs until Thursday, focusing on the families who were part of the church and community and on various aspects of village life.
