TWO men who pleaded guilty to robbing a store will have to wait to learn their fate.
Aaron Currell, 21, and Stephen Young, 30, appeared at Teesside Crown Court on a charge of robbing the McColls store, in Brierton Lane, Hartlepool, of cash, cigarettes and a bottle of Bacardi.
Currell, of Bruntoft Avenue, Hartlepool, admitted the offence, which took place on November 30, last year, during a hearing on March 18.
Young, of the town’s Irvine Road, entered a guilty plea at Teesside Crown Court yesterday.
Danielle Best, 19, of Marsh House Avenue, Billingham, and Stephenie Ryan, also 19, of Lomond Avenue, Billingham, admitted assisting an offender on November 30.
Young’s barrister, Aisha Wadoodi, said the matter was not yet ready to proceed to sentence.
Judge Anthony Bowers remanded Young and Currell in custody and bailed Best and Ryan for sentence on a date to be fixed.
