Sunderland have no plans to cancel their pre-season tour of France next week following the Nice terror attack, club officials have confirmed.

Sam Allardyce's team are due to play three games in the country later this month.

The Black Cats face FC Stade Nyonnais at Evian-le-Bains on Monday, July 25, and then play Dijon FCO at the same venue on Wednesday, July 27.

The final game of the French tour sees the team play Montpellier HSC at Aix-les-Bains on Saturday, July 30.

A spokeswoman for SAFC said there are no plans to alter any planned fixtures.

Sunderland open their Premier League campaign with a trip to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City on Saturday, August 13.
