Swap cancelled Down to the Woods festival tickets for Kendal Calling or Riverside Live
Those disappointed by the cancellation of Down to the Woods weekend needn't miss out on their festival fix this summer.
Last week it was announced that the festival at Hardwick Hall, near Sedgefield in County Durham, due to be headlined by Primal Scream, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Chase and Status, had been cancelled.
Organisers cited poor ticket sales as the reason behind not going forward with the planned festival on August 13 and 14, which had previously been held as Hardwick Live.
Now two other North festivals have stepped in with offers for those who'd bought tickets for Down to the Woods.
Riverside Live organisers Stanley Events are offering those who were planning on attending the chance to come and see Lee “Scratch” Perry, Craig Charles, The Undertones, The Ordinary Boys and more for a special discounted rate.
Anyone who emails [email protected] with their Down To The Woods booking reference, or a photo of their ticket, will be a given a code valid for a £5 discount on Riverside Live tickets, which cost £30 at standard price.
Riverside Live festival takes place in Riverside Park, Chester-le-Street, on Bank Holiday Sunday, August 28.
Promoters at Kendal Calling in Cumbria on July 28-31, which is headlined by Rudimental and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, have ensured that all adult weekend ticket holders can still attend a great festival this summer.
Down To The Woodsweekend ticket holders may swap their ticket for a weekend ticket at Kendal Calling with camping included at no extra charge. To take advantage of this offer email [email protected] before 5pm on Friday July 1.
