SEAFRONT fun for charity is promised in a Hartlepool event which will raise money for a worthy cause.
A sponsored dog walk and family fun day will be held at Seaton Carew from 10am to 4.30pm on Sunday, September 1.
The event has been organised by the Hartlepool and Seaton Carew branch of the Guide Dogs organisation.
Branch secretary Al Winton is hoping thousands of people will attend.
Activities include a sensory tunnel, dog agility display, and a fun dog show with sections including the waggiest tail.
Registration is £1 per dog, per class, and there are prizes for each class.
A guide dogs display is also planned and a chance for the public to be blindfolded and led by a guide dog.
The schedule also includes a sponsored dog walk from 1pm, and the public are being encouraged to enter their pets.
All money raised will be spent in the area.
