A wonderful donation of £315 has been given to Macmillan Cancer Support.

It was made by the Hartlepool Winter Pool League, which is sponsored by the Nursery Inn in Hart Lane, and the Corner Flag Social Club at Hartlepool United. A cheque was given to George Newbury of Macmillan for money raised by members.

Macmillan officials thanked everyone involved for their support.
