THERE’S smiles galore among these photographs and it’s no wonder.

After all, students from the Just Freestyle School of Dance (formerly known as the Beth Cooling School of Dance) brought home a clutch of medals from the East Coast Championships.

A strong team from the Hartlepool dance school headed to the event at Cayton Bay near Scarborough to compete in categories including solo, slow, doubles and team.

The results showed that hard work and dedication pays off, said spokesman Beth Williamson.

She added: “They exceeded all expectations by taking many titles from beginners through to championship level and across all age ranges.

“Both dance teachers Beth Cooling and Amiee Langley were extremely proud of all pupils who have shown tremendous dedication, hard work, team spirit and support for each other during the festival.”
