Theft, assault and drugs and driving offences: Magistrates deal with Hartlepool offenders

The following Hartlepool cases were dealt with at Teesside Magistrates' Court:

Tammy Wilmot, 29, of Avondale Gardens, Hartlepool, was sentenced to 35 weeks in prison and ordered to pay compensation and costs of £1,043.50 for theft, assault, and breach of a suspended sentence.

John Dixon, 36, of Goldsmith Avenue, Hartlepool, was sentenced to a community order of 12 months, 30 rehabilitation activity days, and ordered to pay fines and costs of £370 for asaault.

Gary Suckling, 46, of Harcourt Street, Hartlepool, was sentenced to 24 weeks in prison and ordered to pay £790 in fines, costs, and compensation for assault, and breach of a suspended sentence.

Mark Leighton, 54, of Darwin Grove, Hartlepool, was disqualified from driving for 18 months, and ordered to pay fines and costs of £235 for driving with excess alcohol.

Sarah Tate, 32, of Miller Crescent, Hartlepool, was sentenced to a community order of 12 months, a curfew of three months, 18 rehabilitation activity days, and ordered to pay £470 in fines, costs, and compensation for assault, assaulting a police officer, and possession of a class B drug.

Ryan Morrison, 29, of Baden Street, Hartlepool, was sentenced to 28 weeks in prison and ordered to pay £545.24 in compensation for eight offences of theft, and for breaching a suspended sentence order.

Raymond Downing, 47, of Wynyard Road, Hartlepool, was conditionally discharged for 18 months and ordered to pay £105 costs for theft.
