Hartlepool & District Hospice and Hartlepool Rugby Club are continuing their successful charity partnership by collaborating on the club’s second annual Beer Festival.
The Hootenanny, which will take place on Bank Holiday Sunday, August 28, will feature a wide selection of beers and ciders to sample, as well as other drinks from the usual bar.
In addition to the beers, there will be live music all day from some of the area’s best up and coming talent including Small Wonder and local favourites Pek & Wanley.
The hospice and the club aim to build on the success of last year’s event at the club which attracted around 300 visitors.
Tickets are £10 each and include a commemorative glass, event programme and four drink tokens.
Greg Hildreth, a fundraiser at the hospice said “We were delighted to be given the opportunity to be involved in such a great event and hopefully our combined efforts will make the day an even bigger success than last year, with all proceeds being used to fund the specialist patient care services provided free of charge by the hospice. I would also like to thank the club for their ongoing support for our charity and I am really looking forward to the festival.”
Liam Lester, who is the lead organiser of the Club’s events added: “We are excited to continue our strong relationship with the Hospice and look forward to collaborating with them on this event. Their support is sure to raise the profile of the festival and improve the experience for everyone who comes along. We hope that the festival can generate vital funds for them as well as highlighting the amazing services that they provide to local families.” Tickets are on sale now and are available from Hartlepool Rugby Club, the hospice or online at www.hartlepoolhospice.co.uk
The organisers are also looking for business or individual sponsors for each of the beers at £100 each. Contact Greg on 01429 855529 or email email@example.com
