Tickets are still available for a new show being performed by a Hartlepool stage organisation.

Hartlepool Stage Society will present the region’s premiere of All the Fun of the Fair on Wednesday, June 29, and Thursday, June 30, with tickets at £9 and £8 with concessions.

Spokesman Sarah Barton, the Musical Director of the Hartlepool Junior Stage Society, said people could still buy tickets for either of the shows.

The show is described as a “rollercoaster ride of a musical”, underscored by David Essex hits such as Winter’s Tale, Hold Me Close, Gonna Make You A Star, Me and My Girl – Nightclubbing, Silver Dream Machine and Rock On.

Shows start at 7pm each evening at the Hartlepool Sixth Form College.

The show is inspired by David’s album All the Fun of the Fair.

The society has just marked its 60th year in existence. It was formerly known as the Gilbert & Sullivan Society.

It was based in Walmsley Hall in Osborne Road, before it moved to the Stage Society Hall, in the Throston Grange Community Centre.
