Time for a party - but who are the fun-loving pensioners?

All four relate to parties for pensioners which were held in Hartlepool.

And there were all found in our glass plate archives.

One of our four images clearly shows a room full of packed tables, each with a fair selection of swiss rolls for revellers to enjoy.

A second seems to be a Christmas function with streamers and balloons on the wall, and partygoers dressed up against the winter chills.

The third seems to be a much more official function with one of the standing figiures dressed in civic regalia. But who is he?
