Time to scrap US system
Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by over 335,000 but lost the election.
The electoral college system favoured the Republicans.
This has only happened four times in American history.
But this is the second time in 16 years.
George W Bush lost the popular vote to Al Gore; Bush won on electoral college votes in 2000.
Is it time for America to just scrap the electoral college system?
