Town firm's expertise is helping a company with a massive expansions

A specialist Hartlepool training firm is helping a company to prepare for growth with an £800,000 project.

Amacus has been chosen to train more than 60 staff at Redcar company ElringKlinger which is a global automotive supplier.

The expert Amacus trainers will help ElringKlinger to add to the skills range of its entire workforce over the next three years.

And the programme is being done ahead of ElringKlinger’s plans a major expansion.

The first phase is an 18-month skills and training scheme which includes individual assessments and modules on safety compliance.

It is being carried out for the Redcar firm which is expected to double the size of the business in the next five years.

Amacus is a specialist in leadership and management training, and worked in conjunction with Gateshead College to develop a bespoke training programme.

It includes Institute of Leadership and Management qualifications, a senior operatives bespoke programme and apprenticeships in performing manufacturing.
