A North East Euro MEP is to be the guest speaker at a public meeting organised by the Hartlepool branch of the UK Independence Party.
The UKIP Hartlepool Constituency Association will welcome UKIP European Parliament member Jonathan Arnott.
The meeting takes place tomorrow night at the Seaton Hotel, Church Street, Seaton Carew.
Mr Arnott will speak on matters of concern both local and national interest including wind turbines and fisheries policy and take questions from the floor.
A Hartlepool UKIP spokesman said: “Jonathan has developed quite a reputation for being the MEP who poses the most questions in the European Parliament, usually much to their discomfort.
“His reputation for looking out for the real interests of the people of the North East is equally noteworthy.”
The meeting starts at 7pm.
UKIP came second behind Labour in Hartlepool in this year’s General Election with over 11,000 votes, which was up 21%.
