THEY’RE three of the very best and they are all from the same dance school.
Meet the students from the Val Armstrong School of Performing Arts who impressed the judges at the recent British championships.
The competition was held in Blackpool and delighted Val was over the moon with the performances of her students. She said: “I am very proud of all my students.”
She added: “We are not just a school which focuses on events like this.
“Our students are involved in many other activities on a professional basis with our school agency, so to do so well is an added bonus.”
She described the successes of her three students - Millie Barrass, Brooke Gordon, and Theahna Lee - as “absolutely fantastic”.
Nine-year-old Brooke Gordon is accustomed to success.
And she added to her clutch of trophies by lifting the titled in the infant British ballet section.
She was also runner-up in the infant modern category.
She has also won titles in the Redcar and Cleveland modern championships and Val said: “She has made it to eight finals this year.”
But she was not the only one of Val’s students to enjoy success at the Blackpool competition.Val said both Millie and Theahna had won Best of British Babies title at the prestigious event.
Theahna Lee was victorious in the baby cabaret sector of the Blackpool competition while Millie won the baby non cabaret title.
Both girls are five years old and the trophy haul did not end there either.
“We won five British titles this year and were runner-up for the teachers award,” Val added.
“I’m very proud of all my students.”
