VIDEO: Throston pupils talk holidays in First Class

WHAT would be the perfect holiday to enjoy before starting at secondary school?

From Europe to Haggerston Castle to Florida, the Year 6 pupils at Throston Primary School, in Flint Walk, all have their favourite summer hotspots.

They discussed where they would love to be heading this summer once they have finished their SATs and their time at primary school.

Maisie Bailey, 11, said: “I would love to go to Cyprus this summer because my auntie lives there and it’s fantastic.

“I’ve been there once before and I absolutely loved it.”

Leoni Davis, 11, said: “If I could go anywhere I’d like to go to Haggerston Castle again.

“I’ve been there before and loved it, the swimming pool was definitely the best part.”

Thomas Vasey, 11, said: “My dream holiday is Disneyland Florida.

“They have some amazing parks there, I’ve been before and it was one of the best experiences of my life.”

Evie Unthank, 11, said: “My dream holiday would be to go to Egypt, it’s really nice and sunny.

“I like the sun, it’s my favourite part of going away on holiday in the summer.”

Amy Todd-Davis, 11, is a big fan of Center Parcs.

She said: “My dream holiday is definitely Center Parcs.

“I’ve been there three times in the past and loved it every time and loved going on the river rapids.”

Harry Moor, 11 has been to Disneyland, in Florida, in the past and would love to be going back this summer.

He said: “Disneyland is my dream holiday, it’s absolutely amazing there.

“I would really love to go again.”
