A second incident took place at another property on the same road between 4.30pm and 6pm on Monday, March 7, again asking about work on the property.

The man got into the back of a waiting vehicle, a maroon coloured estate car, which was being driven by another man.

The suspect is described as white, aged 38 to 45-years-old, between 5ft 4ins tall and 6ft tall. He was wearing a navy coat and trousers, with a pale complexion, prominent teeth and dark greying hair.

Officers would always advise vigilance with cold callers and would suggest asking for identification and even calling the company concerned if necessary to verify identification.
