Hartlepool enjoyed temperatures approaching the 20 degrees celsius mark on Thursday.

Needless to say, as our gallery of pictures shows, people were quick to take advantage of the sunshine across town.

There’s more to come as well for at least part of the weekend if the weather experts have got it right.
