As we head into the second bank holiday weekend in May, (Friday, May 28 to Monday, May 31), the town looks set to experience some bright spells with the recent wet weather looking to dry up.

Met Office forecasters are predicting that Hartlepool will experience sunny spells for the majority of the weekend, with temperatures averaging around 17°C and no rain showers.

Daily highs of 15°C are expected.

Sunday, May 30

More sunny spells are predicted for throughout Sunday, with the odd cloudy spell in the course of the morning.

Met Office forecasters are expecting temperatures to be much like the rest of the weekend, sitting around 17°C.

Monday, May 31

Another sunny day is expected for bank holiday Monday, with bright spells forecast throughout the day.
