What will Hartlepool wake up to?

Showers are unlikely in the morning and any that do arrive will ease away. It will be a mainly bright start with some sunshine and cloud. The cloud will thicken later and continue that way throughout the day. A maximum temperature of 20 °C should be expected.

The sunniest part of the day could be between 11am and 12pm noon when the sky is set to be at its clearest.

There’s good news for hay fever sufferers as pollen levels will be low.

Will the sun and cloud continue into the evening?

There is a 40% chance of rain in the evening at around 3pm and 4pm but that isn’t expected to last long and should lead into a mild evening.

Any outbreaks of rain will clear throughout the night leaving most parts of the town feeling dry by the morning of Thursday, August 22.

Expect a warmer day with a minimum temperature of 14 °C.

What is the weather for the rest of the week?

The weather is predicted to stay mostly dry with some sunny spells later in the week as we pass hump day on Wednesday, August 21. It will still feel warm as we approach the Bank Holiday weekend, although an onshore breeze will keep coastal areas cooler throughout with spells of sunshine predicted by The Met Office.
