Heavy rain is set to hit.

While Storm Dennis is set to hit the outskirts of our region, our area is expected to see high winds return as a yellow weather warning is in place for the weekend.

The strong wind and rain is likely to cause disruption to travel throughout the weekend and Highways England is working closely with the Met Office in monitoring weather conditions.

Motorists are advised to take extra care when driving in this weather.
