Yellow weather warning: Hour-by-hour forecast as downpours are set for Hartlepool

The weather warning is in place and the prolonged rain is set to begin on the evening of Friday, November 22.

The heavy rain could cause some transport disruption and flooding is likely in places.

Spray is also likely on local roads which could make travel times longer.

The Met Office forecast for Saturday, November 23 says: “Overcast, dull and wet with rain persisting for most places, locally heavy at times. It will feel chilly with southeasterly wind, brisk inland but strong along the coast.”

This is when the heavy rain is set to hit Hartlepool.
