Wedding bells could be ringing

LAST YEAR'S WINNERS: Stephen Jewson and Michelle Davison with daughter Isabelle
LAST YEAR'S WINNERS: Stephen Jewson and Michelle Davison with daughter Isabelle

IT’S almost time for us to start narrowing down the entrants in this year’s Bride of the Year competition.

We’ll be closing the contest later this month and that’s when the serious business starts - when we move closer to choosing the bride to pick up this year’s £10,000 prize.

For now, though, we are still keen to hear from people wanting to enter the competition in which the Mail has teamed up with Robert Usher Photography.

Our eventual winner will marry at 3pm on Friday, September 16, at the Grand Hotel, in Hartlepool.

And in a year when a Royal marriage will hit the headlines, we’re determined to provide a wedding fit for a queen for one lucky bride.

And to stand a chance of winning, all you have to do is get in touch with us.

If you’re planning to tie the knot this year, you could become our Bride of the Year.

Couples who have entered before – and whose dream of marrying has still not become reality – are welcome to enter.

So too are those who have never entered before and would love to enjoy a day filled with wonderful memories.

All will be equally welcome in this year’s Bride of the Year competition.

You just have to tell us why you think you deserve the title – and a dream wedding courtesy of the Mail and Robert Usher Photography.

HOW THE CONTEST WORKS

We want to hear from would-be brides. Get your entries in.

The best entries from all those submitted will go forward to a public vote, likely to be held in early April.

We will choose the top entries from that public vote to go forward to the next stage which is the grand final, likely to be held late in April.

On the evening of the grand final, a panel of judges will interview our shortlisted finalists and decide our winner.

The Mail will then follow our victorious couple as they prepare for the wedding of their dreams.

So what are you waiting for? Make sure you put yourself in with a chance of winning by sending us your entry.

HOW YOU ENTER
