AN Easter events bonanza, including a car rally, is under way at a Hartlepool pub.
Four days of fun events have begun at The Owton Lodge, in Stockton Road, which is fundraising for Cancer Research UK.
“We have an amazing weekend planned and all in aid of Cancer Research UK.”
And it culminates on Easter Monday with a five-hour car rally filled with classic and vintage vehicles.
The fun starts tonight with a karaoke from 9pm until late.
Saturday’s event is a performance by Freddie Mercury tribute act Billy West which begins at 9pm.
On Sunday, April 5, visitors can enjoy a bouncy castle from 11am to 4pm, with karaole entertainment from 9pm.
And on Monday, April 6, a vintage car show will run from 11am to 4pm which will be followed by a quiz at 9pm.
A spokesman said a raffle will be held throughout the weekend with all proceeds donated to Cancer Research UK.
All the activities are free and the finale will be the rally on Easter Monday by the Northern Bygones Society.
It will include a presentation at around 3pm with a trophy being presented in memory of John Gillam who was a member of the Northern Bygones Society.
The Northern Bygones will also be holding a classic and vintage show at Tesco, in Belle Vue Way, Hartlepool, on Sunday, April 26 from 10am to 3pm.
The society is a club set up for collectors and it was first formed in 2011.
It holds regular shows throughout the North-East.
