n At least 10 seizures a day, known as myclonic jerks;

• West Syndrome, a rare and serious form of epilepsy which affects one in 5,000 babies;

n Asthma and other chest conditions. She needs to take a ventilin inhaler four times a day and a steroid inhaler twice a day;

n Reflux (where acid from the stomach leaks into the gullet);

n She needs physiotherapy once a week to stretch her ligaments and tendons;

n She has severe learning problems and cannot walk, talk or sit unaided;

n She has fluctuating muscle tone in her body, meaning her muscle control is un-coordinated;

n She needs eight different types of medication a day to keep her alive
